Limit Orders
What are Limit Orders?
Limit orders are open orders (pending trades) that only execute when the price of the product you are using trades at your desired (or set) price.
For example, if the highest you’re willing to pay for a share of PEPE UP “YES” is 50, but the current market price is 70, you would create a limit order at 50 and wait until someone is willing to sell YES shares at your desired price and hope the short term market tends towards your desired bidding range.
Managing limit orders
When you have an open order, you’ll find it displayed just below the Order Book under 'My Limits' or under the 'My Limits' tab on your Portfolio page.
Canceling limit orders
When you have an open order, you’ll find it displayed just below the Order Book under 'My Limits'. To cancel the order, you can simply click the x button alongside the order. When it no longer shows up under the 'My Limits' tab, it is cancelled.
