Order Book
Understanding the Order Book will help you become an advanced trader.
As we have explained when touching on the limit and market orders, a market order means your trade executes instantly at the current market price.
On the other hand, if you think the market price is too high and want to set a specific price that you would be willing to accept? These are called Limit Orders and they do not trigger isntantly, these orders are just set in the order book and once the conditions are met for your desired price you will be entered into the position and USDT taken from your balance as collateral.
Viewing the Order Book
The order book is a list of every open order to buy or sell shares in a particular market. When navigating to your desired market you will be able to see all other traders limits in the order book, this can give you a deeper understanding of the market participants and overall sentiment for your chosen market at the time.
